In January 2025, Prof. Jack Hare will be joining the Laboratory of Plasma Studies as an Assistant Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He will be bringing with him the PUFFIN pulsed-power generator which he has been working on at MIT’s Plasma Science and Fusion Center for the past four years, adding new capabilities which complement the existing COBRA and XP generators at the LPS
